For those who don’t know me, my name is Michelle 🙂 Thanks for stopping by my blog!
A few years ago it existed in the form of a travel blog called Young & Frecklous (IG: @youngandfrecklous). Unfortnately, due to a mix-up between my web host, credit card company and defunct e-mail address, it was lost to the vast cyberspace of zeros and ones without a trace and with no chance of rescue. (NOOOO!)
Losing something that meant so much, that was built with so much love, that documented the better part of two full years of backpacking around the world was a tough blow, and you all know how it is: the idea of having to rebuild from the ground up was, in itself, harrowing enough to keep me from trying. For a long, long time.
But I’m back!
Why? I’m so glad you asked.
While I haven’t been blogging for a while, I have still been writing. Like crazy. Like a job. Because, well, it kind of is my job!
I’m a romance writer, and before you ask I’ll answer: Yes, that kind of romance writer. Those who kept up with me on the road probably aren’t surprised. My goal is to write fresh, fun contemporary romance with a diverse cast of characters.
That introduces readers to more than just the stereotypical love interests we’ve come to expect in the genre.
That encourages them with every page to follow their passions (especially abroad).
That above all gives them an irresistibly steamy, yet unmistakably sincere love story to giggle about, sigh over, and fall hopelessly in love with.
But while I continue to pursue that goal offline, I recently realized I just miss sharing my adventures online. So I put on my Big Girl Pants, re-purchased my domain, logged onto Instagram for the first time in years, and built myself a place to do just that.
